Cargo Terminal in Miradi
The Railway Cargo Terminal in Miradi, managed by INFRAKOS, is an important point for the operation and transfer of goods between railway and road transport.
The terminal is located at Miradi railway station, at kilometre 251.540 of Railway Line 10, which connects Kosovo with the regional railway network.
The terminal is located approximately 2 km south of the central railway station of Fushë Kosovë and approximately 10 km from Prishtina, providing convenient access for the transportation and distribution of goods.
The terminal is directly connected to Railway Line 10, while through the road network it has access to the “Ibrahim Rugova” Motorway (R7), which connects Kosovo with Albania, as well as to the M9 road, which connects Prishtina with Peja.
Thanks to its strategic location and connection to railway and road infrastructure, the Cargo Terminal in Miradi provides suitable conditions for the loading, unloading, transfer and storage of goods.
Assets and Terminal Capacities
The Cargo Terminal in Miradi has dedicated infrastructure and equipment for handling containers and various types of goods, including:
- Operational Area 5,250 m² of paved area, suitable for containers, various goods, and trucks for loading and unloading.
- Parking Area 1,000 m², secured with fencing and security services.
- Mobile Crane Lifting capacity of up to 40 tonnes, with the possibility of stacking containers up to the fifth level.
- Mechanical Forklift For loading and unloading pallets, with a capacity of up to 2 tonnes.
- Hand Pallet Trucks Three hand pallet trucks for handling and moving pallets in railway wagons and trucks.
- Electricity Supply 16 power supply points for refrigerated containers.
- Fuel Transfer A facility co-invested with “Bis Oil Team” for the simultaneous unloading of four tank wagons into road tankers.
- Covered Warehouse 120 m² (40 m × 3 m), for loading, unloading and temporary storage of goods.
